Chassis Pics Of My Octal Fatness

Here is some more pictures of the chassis with some commentary.


Here is a view of the filter caps. The power transformer sits below these caps.
Here is a view of the filter caps from the opposite direction. Behind the caps is the IEC socket, power switch, standby switch, 3 watt pot for bias adjustment and the speaker jack. The 2 amp slow-blow fuse is internally mounted and is near the IEC socket. The output transformer was not installed at the time that this picture was taken. It is mounted directly in front of the ceramic tube socket which can be seen at upper left.
Here is a view of the front of the chassis showing the faceplate. This also gives you a better idea of the way the wiring actually looks. Things are tight in there, but there is still some room to work around. (This is easy when you are used to making stompboxes...)
